Some vinyl siding had blown off our house during strong winds in May. It was almost roof height so didn’t want to repair it ourselves. We called several companies and handymen from Google and had no luck, either they said they’d check their schedule, didn’t return our calls or just weren’t interested in a small job. ‘Cleaning ones eavestrough’s, surely the most miserable of jobs to the man that likes to do his own home maintenance. As one got older walking the roof became too dangerous so then it became climbing and moving ladders for a couple of hours. Then the kids dictated no more climbing ladders, we don’t like hearing we are too old for these things but in truth we are. It was time for Kijiji, having learned the hard way that there are many fly-by-nights that cause more stress than they were being hired to alleviate, has made me more careful in whom I would contact. I saw an articulate ad for Tundra Contractors c/w a website, very impressive website, so I sent my information and now it was up to them. Since then the work was completed and they cashed my cheque.
